Monash University Learning & Teaching Building

CLAYTON CAMPUS

Years of research and design thinking went into making The Learning & Teaching Building a world-class learning environment.

Inspired by the landscape

The award-winning Monash University Learning & Teaching Building draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape. Selected to reflect the natural environment, australian araucaria™ strengthens this connection to the outdoors.

Bringing people together

Designed by John Wardle Architects, the innovative building creates a beautiful interior landscape with a variety of learning and teaching spaces. It’s a place that brings the campus and community together while paying homage to the rich history of the surrounds.

When designing the building, every detail was meticulously considered to foster a collaborative experience for the campus community while supporting new styles of learning. Open areas and light timber create an inviting and inspiring atmosphere while informal learning spaces offer a variety of study settings.

This stunning building accommodates thousands of students each semester, providing a place for advanced teaching and learning.
